Man Arrested Ponca City Police arrested an 18-year-old man in the 900 block of North Fifth Street at 9:24 a.m. Monday on complaints of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, as well as a Kay County Sheriff's Office warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of knowingly concealing stolen property.

Trespass Warning Ponca City Police issued a trespass warning to a 35-year-old man at 9:33 a.m. Monday for a store in the 1100 block of East Prospect Avenue.

Harassment Reported A resident of the 700 block of North Lake Street reported continuing harassment from his neighbor at 9:59 a.m. Monday. A Ponca City Police officer provided the resident with options.

Domestic Disturbance A woman in the 500 block of North Third Street reported a domestic assault at 10:27 a.m. Monday. When Ponca City Police officers arrived, the man had left. An officer advised the woman was en route to the courthouse for a protective order. An officer took information for a warrant request.

Harassment Reported A resident of the 400 block of South Peachtree Street reported harassment at 10:50 a.m. Monday. An officer took a report for documentation.
Man Arrested Ponca City Police arrested a 39-year-old man in the 1300 block of East South Avenue at 11:50 a.m. Monday on a Kay County Sheriff's Office warrant for failure to pay. A clerk at a store said the man had passed a counterfeit $20 bill.
Teen Arrested Ponca City Police arrested a 17-year-old female in the 1100 block of East Prospect Avenue at 12:13 p.m. Monday on a complaint of petit larceny. An officer advised the subject's mother was coming to pick up the subject's juvenile child. The 17-year-old was released to her parent on a promise to appear in court.
Threats Reported A resident of the 1000 block of North Second Street reported at 8:35 p.m. Monday that a man was threatening to kick in his door and assault him. Ponca City Police responded and contacted the other man in the 800 block of North Elm Street. Both men were accusing the other of threats and harassments. Officers gave them options and provided extra patrol.
Extra Patrol A resident of the 200 block of North Peachtree Street requested extra patrol for a neighbor at 12:48 p.m. Monday because of problems with people knocking and ringing the doorbell and then running. The neighbor said when they checked on the resident Monday the back door was slightly ajar.
Woman Arrested Ponca City Police arrested a 31-year-old woman in the 1100 block of East Prospect Avenue at 1:33 p.m. Monday on a complaint of petit larceny.
Accident Report A motorist contacted Ponca City Police at 2:43 p.m. Monday to report a semi sideswiped his car at Fourteenth Street and Hartford Avenue and continued on to the Conoco tank farm. Ponca City Police took a report.
Accident Report Ponca City Police took information for a report on an accident at Fourteenth Street and Central Avenue at 4:36 p.m. Monday.
Fraud Report Ponca City Police took a fraud report in the 2000 block of North Seventh Street at 5:34 p.m. Monday.
Two Arrested Ponca City Police arrested a 29-year-old man from the Kay County Sheriff's Office at 7:07 p.m. Monday on a city warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of driving under suspension. A 22-year-old man also was arrested on a city warrant for petit larceny.
Two Arrested Ponca City Police arrested an 18-year-old man from the Kay County Sheriff's Office at 9:30 p.m. Monday on a city warrant for failure to pay city warrants. A 22-year-old man was arrested on a city warrant for failure to pay for an expired driver's license.
Woman Arrested Ponca City Police arrested a 34-year-old woman from the Blackwell Police Department at 10:28 p.m. Monday on a city warrant for failure to pay a fine for failure to yield to emergency vehicles and failure to pay a fine for no driver's license.
Juvenile Cited Ponca City Police issued a citation to a juvenile who was running in the 1000 block of North Oak Street at 1:24 a.m. Tuesday. He was released to a parent on a promise to appear in court.
Two Arrested Ponca City Police arrested a 21-year-old man in the 700 block of East Prospect Avenue at 2:33 a.m. Tuesday on complaints of possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, possession of morphine and transporting an open container of a liquid controlled substance. A 27-year-old woman was arrested on complaints of possession of marijuana and paraphernalia and possession of morphine.
Vandalism Reported A man in the 2200 block of North Ash Street reported at 6:33 a.m. Tuesday that his son vandalized the business. An officer investigated and advised it was an accident, not vandalism.
Illegal Hunters The Kay County Sheriff's Department received numerous reports of coyote hunters beginning at 7:46 a.m. Saturday. A deputy searched an area and dispatch attempted to contact game wardens.
Vandalism Evident A Kaw City woman contacted the Kay County Sheriff's Department at 11:06 a.m. Saturday and reported her mail had been tampered with, her car vandalized and that her neighbors were threatening her. A deputy was notified and a report was taken.
Report Taken The Kay County Sheriff's Department received a report of a stolen hay bale at 12:53 p.m. Saturday from an area located at Oklahoma 11 and Ranch Drive.
Attempted Break-In The Kay County Sheriff's Department received a report of an attempted break-in the 700 block of East Blackwell at 3:12 p.m. Saturday. A report was taken. At 8:38 a.m. on Sunday the resident reported $200 worth of meat including hamburger, chicken, and steak had been stolen.
Two Arrested The Kay County Sheriff's Department received a report at 3:53 p.m. of a dispute over a truck in the 12000 block of West Peckham Road. A deputy responded and two people were arrested.
Domestic Outbreak Kaw Tribal police contacted the sheriff's department at 12:31 a.m. Sunday and requested a deputy respond to a residence on Charles Curtis Drive for a domestic. Deputies and Newkirk police responded.
Vehicle Accident The Kay County Sheriff's Department received a report of a roll over accident at 8:17 a.m. Monday near Gate Road and U.S. 77. No injuries were reported.
School Dispute Braman school officials contacted the Kay County Sheriff's Department at 12:53 p.m. Monday and requested a deputy come to the school for a student that would not leave. The parents of the teen requested a report be filed regarding an altercation at the school.
Master Gardener workshop at Pioneer Technology Center March 26 starting at 9 a.m. will include three special speakers and the information that they provide. They include Dr. Lou Anella, OSU; Susan Henning, on a teaching garden subject in Newkirk, and Vivian Tackett, about composting.
