Eta Delta Chapter Meets, Plans Social Event May 19 |

Eta Delta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi sorority met in the home of Wanda Sheehan April 14. President Judy Branch presided, and City Council officers were listed. They are Sammie Coats, president; Judy Branch, vice president; Carmelita Childers, recording secretary; Belinda Martin, corresponding secretary; Bambi Correll, treasurer; Terri Buesing, publicity, and Dorothy Leonard, parliamentarian.
Domestic Violence programwill be the next service project for the chapter. Pledge training was held for Linda Tucker and Risa Tomek, and the meeting adjourned with members reciting the closing ritual and Mizpah.
Sam Sheehan led a discussion of Fair Tax as a possible replacement for Federal Tax.
On April 28, Eta Delta Chapter met in the home of Betty Wyatt. President Judy Branch read Thank You notes from Golden Villa, Domestic Violence and Judy Branch for the gift she received for being selected as chapter woman of the year.
Members voted to support Ally's House in Tulsa. It is a group to identify patients in need and to help support Oklahoma Children with cancer.
Eta Delta Chapter will donate two luminaries in memory of Carol Mounts and Sylvia Smith, as well as make a donation to Relay for Life.
The Birthday Party/Husbands Social will be May 19 at 6 p.m. in the home of Susie Allen. Lasagna will be the main dish and members are asked to bring Italian salads and desserts.
Pledge training was held for Linda Tucker and Risa Tomek, and a Ritual of Affirmation was held for Linda Tucker.The meeting adjourned with Betty Wyatt showing a slide presentation of her trip to the Master's Golf Tournament in Augusta, Ga.
