Alumnae Chapter Officers Installed |

The Alpha Chi Omega Alumnae chapter Delta Lambda Delta held their last meeting of the year in Newkirk at the home of Marijane Boone. Co-hostesses for the meeting were Kaye McCarty and Jan Sewell.
A salad supper was served preceding the meeting with each member bringing a favorite salad to share.
Karey Henderson, president, conducted the business meeting. Geri Nesbit, secretary, and Julie Lawrence, treasurer, gave reports. Melinda Glasgow was elected a a delegate to the national convention and Sandy Hudack as an alternate. The convention will be held July 11-15 in Scottsdale, Ariz. at the Fairmont Princess Hotel. Jari Askins, Lieutenant Governor of Oklahoma, will be the keynote speaker at the July 14 meeting.
A highlight of the local meeting was the presentation of a 50-year pin to member Judy Rutledge of Independence, Kan. Ms. Henderson conducted the ceremony and presented the honoree with a pin and a red carnation, the sorority flower.
At the conclusion of the meeting Ms. Henderson installed the officers for 2008-10, presenting each with a red carnation. New officers are Melinda Glasgow, president; Lori Hutchins, vice president; Geri Nesbit, secretary, and Julie Lawrence, treasurer.
