Dean and Dorene Stolhand, 210 South Perry, are observing their 40th wedding anniversary today.

Stolhand and Dorene McWithey were wed May 4, 1968 at Faith Tabernacle. He retired from Mertz in 1997. She owns Dorene's Beauty Shop and sells Avon.

Their children include Georgia Singletary, Jim Bohon, David Bohon, Paul Bohon. Christina Brown, Terry Stolhand, Brenda Pinkerton, Lou Allen Stolhand. They have 18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
