Mr. and Mrs. Rick Adams of Blackwell, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Carrie Lane Adams, to Douglas Allen Ogle, son of Rick and Bonnie Hanson of Seminole, and the late Gary Ogle.

The wedding will be May 31 in Riviera Maya, Mexico. A reception honoring the couple will be held June 7 at the Blackwell Elks Lodge Roundtop. Friends and family are invited to attend the 6:30 p.m. event.

Miss Adams attended Blackwell High School and is a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in business. She also attended Meridian Technology Center in Stillwater and received an associate degree in radiological technology. She is presently employed at ConocoPhillips and the Blackwell Regional Hospital.

Ogle attended Seminole High School and earned a bachelor's degree in physical education from Oklahoma State University. He also holds a master's degree of education administration from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He is a teacher and coach in the Blackwell Public School system.
