Announcement is being made of the engagement of Leslie Jones and Austin Conner, both of Ponca City, by their parents. She is the daughter of Stan and Denise Jones, and he is the son of William and Terry Conner, all of Ponca City.

The bride-elect will graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2009 with a bachelor of fine arts degree in dance, music minor. She is a member of the Kaleidoscope Dance Company and also teaches dance.

The future bridegroom will graduate from UCO in 2009 with a bachelor of science degree in accounting, minor in business administration. He works for the Oklahoma Council on Economic Education and is a member of the McNair Scholar program, and will be working on a summer research project in India.

The couple will marry Aug. 8 at 7 p.m. at the Marland Mansion, with reception following.
