Announcement is being made of the engagement of Katie Lee of Durant and Aaron Jones of Ponca City, by their parents. She is the daughter of Dr. Mike and Kathy Lee of Durant, and he is the son of Stan and Denise Jones of Ponca City.

The bride-elect graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2007 with a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry. She is a first year medical student at the OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine.

The future bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of OSU with a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering. He is a field engineer for Chesapeake Energy.

The couple will marry May 25 at 7 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Durant. A reception will be held at the Silverado Golf Course.
