Dyer Earns Recognition
Darren Dyer, insurance agent, 1312 Princeton Avenue, has earned the second runner-up award for Top All Around Agent in the company for Farm Bureau Insurance.
An 18 year veteran with the company. Dyer was the Top All Around Agent in 2005. The award was presented by Darryl Sinclair, executive vice president and general manager of Oklahoma Farm Bureau Insurance. FBI is a multi-line insurance company.
Local Realtor Wins Award
James A. Smith, broker/owner Realtor with Coldwell Banker Heritage, Realtors 3214 North Fourteenth, has been honored as a member of the company's International Sterling Society.
Smith is a specialist in residential and commercial real estate and has worked in the local real estate industry for the past 22 years.
Smith, highlighting how good things look in Oklahoma, said "Real estate is a local industry. What is happening on the east and west coasts is not happening in Oklahoma."
Statistics from the North Central Board of Realtors support this. According to the data, the average home price increased and the total dollar amount of residential real estate sold increased in 2007 from 2006 in North Central Oklahoma. In fact, this has been the trend for the past 7 years for the entire state of Oklahoma. "Coupled with low interest rates, this is a great time for the Oklahoma real estate industry," says James.
Myers Joins Firm
CENTURY 21 Group One is pleased to announce Harry Myers has joined its firm as a sales associate. He will specialize in residential property sales in the Ponca City area.

Myers brings with him 17 years experience in marketing and sales, as well as, previous local Real Estate experience. He was reared in the Ponca City area and attends the Immaculate Conception Church where he serves as an Eucharistic Minister.
Pederson Inducted
John Addison, Co-CEO of Primerica Financial Services, based in Atlanta, Ga., has announced that Perry Pederson has been inducted into the Primerica "Financial Independence Council."
This is made up of a special group of Registered Representatives who have shown exemplary leadership in providing financial strategies that allow people to secure their financial future.
Pederson will receive special recognition in Atlanta at a future date to be announced.
