Twenty-two representatives from seven counties and nine communities attended the Red Carpet Country Board of Directors meeting held in Ponca City Tuesday. The meeting was conducted by president Chuck Rager, Ponca City.

Mayor Homer Nicholson welcomed the guests and invited them to tour the attractions in Ponca City including the five museums.

Counties represented were Kay, Noble, Kingfisher, Alfalfa, Grant, Woods and Ellis. Towns with representation included Hennessey, Shattuck, Cherokee, Wakita, Perry, Vici, Alva, Kingfisher and Ponca City.

The agenda included appointing a nomination committee, various reports on promotional items, routine matters including budget, a marketing plan and various travel show schedules.
