Former Wildcat Gridders Named All-Conference

DURANT — Two former Ponca City football players have been named to the Lone Star Conference North Division's all-conference team.

The two, Southeastern Oklahoma's Sean Taglialatela and Josh Johnson, were named to the second team offense. Taglialatela is a junior who has started at center all three years he has been at Southeastern.

Johnson is a sophomore in terms of eligibility and was selected at running. He is in his first year at Southeastern having transferred from Iowa State. He gained 628 yards on 100 carries for Southeastern.

The Savage Storm finished the season with a 27-26 victory over East Central to make its record 7-4 for the year.

The Lone Star Conference competes in the NCAA Division 2.
