RCB Bank Pioneer Sets Ribbon Cutting |
|
RCB Bank Pioneer will host a ribbon cutting and reception with the Ponca City Chamber of Commerce at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010, to unveil the completed renovations to its branch on Highland Avenue. The $1.2 million project began in June 2009 and provides a more modern look and feel to the unique-shaped building.
"We're excited about the finished project," said Jeff Cowan, President of the RCB Bank Pioneer branch. "It's a beautiful building, and it has been great for our customers and our employees. This remodel is certainly indicative of RCB's commitment to the Ponca City community."
The first floor face-lift and renovation was spearheaded by general contract IBT out of Atlanta, Ga. However, particular care was taken to utilize local sub-contractors and RCB customers for all other aspects of the project.
"All our subcontractors were local, Ponca City business people," said Cowan. "We set out to use local companies for this project and we are very proud of the work they provided."
The Ponca City Chamber of Commerce will lead the ribbon cutting at the RCB Bank Pioneer location at 1223 East Highland Avenue. A reception honoring the contractor and subcontractors will follow from 10 a.m. to noon.
New features of the remodel include the addition of new reception and waiting areas, enlarged offices spaces, an added conference room, new restrooms, tile flooring and handicap accessible teller lines.
