Voting Results For Kay County

NEWKIRK — Numbers provided by the Kay County Election Board show that 7,466 of the 25,987 registered voters in the county voted Tuesday.

Of that number, 4,820 Republicans and 2,646 Democrats voted.

In state races, Kay County chose Jari Askins over Drew Edmondson by a count of 1,352 to 1,279 in the Democratic Governor primary.

Mary Fallin received 3,167 votes while Randy Brogdon received 1,171, Roger Jackson, 213, and Robert Hubbard, 178 in the GOP Governor primary.

Lt. Gov. GOP primary it was Bernie Adler, 246, John Wright, 779, Todd Lamb, 2951, Paul Nosak, 234, and Bill Crozier, 269.

Auditor Inspector, GOP primary, Gary Jones, 2,933 and David Hanigar, 1,332.

Attorney General GOP primary, Ryan Leonard, 2,148 and Scott Pruitt, 2,402.

Treasurer, GOP primary, Ken Miller, 2,704 and Owen Laughlin, 1,727.

In the State School Superintendant, Democratic race, Susan Paddack, received 1,808 votes and Jerry Combrink, 759.

In the State School Superintendant, GOP, Janet Barresi, 2,637 and Brian Kelly, 1,850.

Labor Commissioner, GOP, Mark Costello, 2,022, and Jason Reese, 2,301.

Insurance Commissioner, GOP John Crawford, 2,108, John Doak, 1,174, and Mark Croucher, 1,033.

Corporation Commissioner GOP, Tod Yeager, 1,473, and Dana Murphy, 2,906.

U.S. Senate Democratic Primary, Jim Rogers, 1,725 and Mark Myles, 805.

U.S. Senate GOP, Evelyn Rogers, 430, Lewis Kelly Spring, 210, and Tom Coburn, 4,077.

State Senate District No. 10, GOP, David McLain, 199, and Eddie Fields, 338.
