A variety of topics were discussed during the annual Ponca City Development Authority Board retreat Friday at Evans Ranch.

With five of the trustees present, chairman Lee Evans, called the meeting to order. Executive Director David Myers, as the facilitator, then led the group through a process of developing ideas for the coming year.

The results of the retreat will be discussed and voted on at later meetings. There were no items on the retreat agenda to be voted on.

Discussion centered on Continuing Ponca City's economic growth and what does Ponca City need to do as a community to continue economic growth.

Another headliner was Playing the Role of areas identified under the growth agenda item, what is PCDA's role and where can the organization have an impact?

The PCDA draft strategic plan was discussed with what includes in the five year strategic plan, using the draft plan as a starting point.

Final topic of discussion was the 2008-2009 Twelve Month Plan, which involved the first steps and immediate priorities of the draft plan.
