James Lee Skinner, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2024, in Norman, OK, surrounded by his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unforgettable memories.

James was born on December 4, 1942, in Iola, Kansas, to the late Ralph Skinner and Dorothy (Holeman) Skinner. He spent his childhood in the close-knit community of Shidler, OK, where he developed a deep appreciation for family values and hard work with his brother Don and sister Connie.

James was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carolyn “Cookie” (Biddle) Skinner, with whom he shared many years of laughter, love, and unwavering companionship.

James leaves behind a legacy of love through his children: son Robert Biddle and spouse Susan Biddle; daughter Pamela Moore and spouse Charles Moore; daughter Cheryl Skinner; and son Jay Skinner. He was a devoted father, always there to offer guidance, support, and unconditional love. He took immense pride in watching grandchildren: Ashton, Katherine, Al, Brieana, and Chase grow and succeed.

James Lee Skinner will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May he rest in eternal peace, reunited with his beloved Cookie, and may his memory continue to inspire love and compassion in all who knew him.
