Garry Scott Sr. passed away quietly on May 2, 2024. He was born December 1, 1951.

He loved his wife, Faye, and his kids, grand kids, meant the world to him. He loved to hunt, fish, and tinkering in his shop. He could fix anything. He loved to go to Roaring River, antique shopping, and yard sales.

He was survived by his wife Faye of the home, son Garry Scott Jr. and wife Taylor, grand kids, Kirby and Dakota Scott of Ponca City, Trenton Hutchison of Ponca City, Cheyann and Charles Creppel of Ponca City, Brenden Scott of Ponca City, Gavin Scott of Arkansas, and Lane Wilkinson of Ponca City. Brother Merle and wife Alice Scott of Ponca City, sister Pam and husband Jerry Lingnau of Ponca City, and brother Larry and Ruth Scott of Loveland, CO.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Scott, mother Opal McLain, sister Carol Woolsey, sister Diane Demoss, and daughter Melissa Scott Johnstone.

A service will be held on Tuesday, May 14, at 10 am, at Christ’s Church, 1001 W. Boaz, Newkirk, OK
