Instructor Ron Buck demonstates the correct way of sighting through a rifle scope to Terry Huston during the recent "Women on Target" event sponsored by the Ponca City Rifle and Pistol Club at the club's new range.

Melinda Dexter used a two-hand grip in firing a handgun under the watchful eye of instructor Theron King during the "Women on Target" event. Some 20 women learned how to shoot various weapons with the aid of the Ponca City Rifle and Pistol Club, the Ponca City Junior Rifle Club and members from the Department of Wildlife.
