Some Charges Remain

NEWKIRK — While two felony cases of domestic abuse were dismissed against David Keith Blenz, 47, Arkansas City, in Kay County District Court, on Jan. 17, he still faces felony charges of first degree burglary, endangering others while attempting to elude police, assault on police officer, two charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, running a roadblock, and misdemeanor counts of protective order violations and obstructing an officer.

According to the Oklahoma District Court Records web site, Blenz appeared in court Monday with his attorney Jarrod Stevenson and stood mute.

The court entered a plea of not guilty for him to the charges.

He is scheduled for a pre-trial conference on April 10 at 1:30 p.m. and for a felony scheduling docket on June 7 at 9 a.m.
