Richard was a lifelong resident of the Bressie Community who graduated from Marland High School in 1981. He enjoyed listening to music and was an avid musician. He loved playing his guitar and singing in his band, “Restless Gypsy”, and rocking out to his favorite 70’s and 80’s Rock & Roll music. Richard liked to follow politics on Fox and stir up things on Facebook with his friends. He also enjoyed watching TV shows from his childhood that include Beverly Hillbillies, Green Acres, Andy Griffith, and many old westerns. He recently purchased his own Henry rifle that he was very proud of. He enjoyed spending summer days outside, with his family, having cookouts and watching the grandchildren run and play in the yard. He also loved his dogs, Chloe and Itty Bitty.

In 1987, Richard Married the love of his life Lucinda (Cindy) Lou Blackwood from Ponca City, OK. From this marriage 3 children (that Richard was very proud of) were born; Dwayne Edward, Dustin Richard and Jessica Marie.
